Who is right

ok so me and ryan have been bickering about something and we figured what better way than to see who the idiot is than on 2gn lol So we need your opinions here.

Ryan says that the wheels from a dodge caravan es are "extremely similar" to 1gn r/t wheels.

1gn r/t

Caravan Es

I disagree with this. Are they similar? Yes i think so but the caravan wheels, if you look close at them have little dimples in them in between the lug nuts, But yes the spokes are of similar design.

Now I say that the 1gn r/t wheels and the 2gn r/t wheels are also very similar. I think i would venture to say that when they designed the 2gn r/t wheel they sort of based it off of the 1gn r/t wheel. Now I am NOT saying they are the same wheel. I am saying they are similar in that fact that the spokes look the same, and the space in between the spokes are SIMILAR, not the same. Yes i can see the spokes on the 1gn r/t wheels flare out a little where they meet the lip of the rim.

ok so we really need your opinions on this. Very srs subject lol

I think everything you wrote is horseshit. the 14" 1gn r/t wheels and the 16" caravan es/intrepid r/t wheels are 98% the same design wise. 2gn fat fives look nothing like 1gn r/t wheels and look more similar to p/t cruiser dream cruiser wheels or whatever those five spoke wheels are.. these

Image

and still not even that similar, but closer tho these than 1gn r/t wheels. they're both 5 spokes that's where the major similarities end.

Alison Brie is cute.

I'm right.

Remember Dan. Similar's definition is

having a likeness or resemblance, esp. in a general way: two similar houses. Having the same shape; having corresponding sides proportional and corresponding angles

So with said I think that the rims from the 1gn and caravan are very if not extremely similar. Yes they aren't gonna be a perfect match but Ryan isn't saying that.

So sorry dude...you must hang your head in shame and know that you are the "idiot" this time.
Hey lets not name Random1 "randomidiot" I've got a new candidate for that name lol (Kiddin Dan.)

With Ryan.

I wanted 16" Caravan wheels instead of r/t wheels for a while because they are almost the same.

Caravan wheels are more like 1gn R/T wheels then 2gn R/T wheels.

The tribe has spoken lol.

<3 you Dan.

 lmao!

Kyle... I told him I wanted them too. Problem is... newer caravans like those have 5x114 bolt pattern not 5x100

Dan is gonna be super butthurt when he sees everyone agrees with me. Let's see how he tries to change his words to make himself come out on top! muahahaha

Got to go with Ryan on this one.

From what I can see, yes they look the same. Remember, dodge didn't give a shit about the neon...

Ryan wins, they look identical to me other than the dimples. The others have no resemblance to each other whatsoever IMO.

If you look closely, another difference between the RT/Caravan wheels is that the Caravan ones have a bit of a triangular thing going on where the spoke meets the rim of the wheel. The RT spokes seem to be more rounded and flat.

But yeah, they are 99% dead nuts almost exactly the same. And the only thing they have in common with the newer RT wheels is the number of spokes. Oh and they're both silver too!

Sorry Dan, but you FAIL!

Ryan is right. But idk i guess that 1gn and 2gn are kind of... similar. But by that definition 1gn r/t's and the caravan wheels are VERY similar.

I thought the same thing until I saw a better pic of 1gn r/t wheels. They too have a small ridge in the middle of each spoke but it's less defined since the wheel is all around smaller.

That's exactly what I said! lol

Honestly, I'm not even sure how this made a thread... in my eye it's very obvious 1gn/caravan/trep wheels are extremely similar and 2gn r/t wheels look nothing alike. I guess we all perceive things differently though..........
