SXT Wheels on SRT?

So I read the sticky and discovered too late that the SXT rims will not clear the SRT brakes in the front, only in the rear. So my questions is basically is there anything I can do to make the SXT rims fit on the front of the SRT maybe with spacers or something so that it will clear the calipers? Thanks

My guess is spacers will do the trick. I know plenty of 15" wheels can be run so I'd assume it's an interference issue with the spokes and a small spacer would work.

I know dick about spacers so maybe like 5mm will do the trick. Im pretty sure thats as big as they can go without needing longer studs?

Correct. Yeah, I'd wait for someone to chime in that has firsthand experience with this as I don't have an SRT nor have I run spacers but you are correct about not wanting to run much more than 5mm on stock studs

5MM spacers will work fine. My buddy runs snowflakes on his SRT daily.

Only needed on the front. Also, if you wear your pads down enough, you wont need the spacers anymore.

I run a 5mm spacer for my snowflakes. Just clears the SRT brakes

I'm sure there is...I would have been wise for me to consult such a sticky before this whole ordeal haha. Anyway I'm just returning the 3mm and getting 5mm. They recommend extended studs with 5mm spacers but modern said as long as the are isn't driven hard (and it won't be) that it wont be a problem to forgo the studs. They also said they have never had any negative reports of failure with 5mm spacers and stock studs...

My buddy with an SRT was drag racing his car with 5mm spacers on his car for the snowflakes to clear his brakes and never had an issue.

prob on SRTforums. I'd say slipstreams though since it seems a lot of people run them for track wheels lol
