door lock cylinder clip?
anyone know what kind of clip holds the flat plate to the back of the lock cylinder?

IIRC, it is an "E" clip.

You may need to take the lock cylinder to the hardware to match the right size.

IDK if they sell those or not. I have a hardware across the street, so for that stuff I just walk over there. If you only need one or two, it would be much cheaper than buying an assortment. Did yours break, or just go flying?
Mine broke and fell off. It is much easier to install by removing the door handle.

I haven't looked at an Advance or Auto Zone, but I have bought an assortment of E clips from a smaller local shop.
I wouldn't be surprised if most of the auto parts stores had them, but you might have more luck at a Napa. I'm drawing a blank on the local shops in the western New York area.
