The first Neon with a New CAI method.

Post by GTS » Mon Aug 23, 2004 6:45 pm

Well guys here is what it is. A small opening on the side from where air is directly brought to my filter.

Enough talking lets see the pics.

How do you like it let me hear some opinions.

By the way try to focus on the portion of the fender right above the side marker and to the right of the headlight. (Three little slots)

I dont like to sit in the same room with everyone else. I like to be stand out in the crowd.

I guess that one came out of no where. I was looking for ways to modify my intake system and i saw the oportunity to do those slots on the fender. Now i guess i am the first one to have those on my car.

I will let you guys know how the project finished this weekend and i hope to see some improvements from this mod.

No i got no problem. I knew that i had one shot at it and it either looked good or it looked bad. IF it looked bad i would have gotten the RT Bumper but it turned out good so now i will just finish it and live on with it.

Um it's from either the Simpson's or a movie, I can't remember. But if you took it as a insult, that's all you. LOL!

Its from the simpsons, and that is an odd thing to do to your car. You did a good job though, it looks nice and it kinda fits your cars lines.

Hey you know what. All that stock piping is going back on the car. The resonator is a perfect match for what i am looking for. I will update you on the progress of the project.

The stock air box might have to go though. I found a very unusuall way to create an air box around the filter and then narrow it to the right diameter for the bend.

I will keep you guys updated.
