overflow cooking something good

so im at the mall looking for a parking spot on a beautiful saturday afternoon. i go through rows nd rows looking for a parking spot. nd then suddenly rumbling from my firewall, steam coming from the hood. pop the hood open and the overflow tank is cooking top ramen. lol well not technically, but its boiling hard. i recently replaced the radiator, spilled a shit load of tranny fluid, but all that is fine now. so is it my thermostat, rad cap, or HEAD. that needs to be replace. also, as i fill the radiator with coolant it looks like bubble blaster.

start cheap and work your way up, so start with radiator cap and go from there.

if the head goes, im going DOHC, i hope its the head... LOL. yeah, guess i got something to do this weekend.

If it is still bubbling like mad when the engine is cool, it would be the head/gasket. If so, better check the oil! Ethylene glycol does not make for good lubricant.
