1. Sell the car AS IS. I know I will be able to make a profit, but I doubt its not much.
2. Have the local auto body shop assess the damages for free. This shop is only about a mile and a half away. I do have a set of railroad tracks to go over, and its max 35mph to get there on all the roads which is good. Problem is I don't have it insured since its a salvage title. I am thinking I could make it up there if I had someone follow me and I put the plates from the silver car on it. The hood is back on and so are the headlights. Everything works properly to my knowledge. Only issue that I would be afraid of is the bottom of the strut hitting the tire..
Look at the clearance of this photo I took a while back:

I do have to go through the busiest intersection in Gardner to get there, but all the other roads are somewhat desolate.
I called up U-haul and they rent a tow dolly for $45 for the day. Then figure another $45 to tow it back, because I doubt they could assess the damage the same day and give me a quote so I could reuse that dolly and get it home if its not worth fixing. Seems quite steep. My girlfriends dad could tow it with his truck if I got that dolly
The body shop was saying that they would give me a quote, then me pulling the parts that need to be pulled off to pull the frame... then me towing it back to them which would be the cheapest route, but quite the hassle... 4 total trips. But for a bit more I could have the body shop tow it for $70 each way..Pricey, but the easiest way. Trying to save money here! I believe there is a coupon for a free tow if its within Gardner though so I heard. Also going to check craigslist for randoms that will tow for cheap. Edit: No towing services local...
3. If the car is not worth fixing..Then I will part it out completely and keep the motor for the silver car.
What do you guys think?
