Picked up a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR this week, so i played with it a little before and after work today, havent a clue what i am doing, so bear with me...

the 2nd night shot, thru the last night shot were done using a circular polarizer, the rest were unfiltered. i have a uv filter i need to try out too, and i want to get a star filter...

thanks guys. i miss my "export" turns up front. i need to order some transparent orange paint and do a new set. maybe someday i can get a BUX rear bumper to match my tails and mirrors...

i definitely need more practice, but i dont have a way of protecting my camera from the rain, and it's been ugly here. anyone got tips for shooting in the rain?

well the t2i body isn't weather sealed like its big brothers. also shooting in the rain brings up major problems buy a weather protection bag on ebay. But i have two cents to add and most important

1. Shoot In Raw

2. buy yourself a nice 16GB Class 10 card. don't try and use any slow sd cards you won't like it.

Anys ways great pictures, and a great camera.

save the pictures as a raw formatted file not as jpg

pics look good. one thing that has made certain pics look better is off centering them. don't make the car dead center of it. make it off to the side like a few of the ones you posted. I have always noticed that this makes the pics look better.

I love the night pictures, but a little note when taking photos of the front, remove the license plate from the dash, looks super tacky.

lovin the car! its just something about that front lip that gets to me i guess. Also you need a dual tip exhaust. 1gns look so sick with dual tip exhaust IMO

the lip gets to you in a good way, or bad way? I had a 2gn R/T exhaust, i took it off. I dont dig duals like i used to. I actually prefer seeing very little of the exhaust. But thanks.

Fail. I love my lip. I love it so much that even though i hit a cat at 45mph, its zip-tie stitched back together and still on.

Yeah, a few months back, i got nailed witha rock, creating a crater in the resin and clear about the size of a ping pong ball, so i covered that with a bandaid sticker. Then in September i tagged that cat in almost the same spot, it stayed in one piece, but had 2 healthy cracks in it, it lined up right though, when i put it back together. Theres just too much wrong in that area to go totally unnoticed. If there wasnt paint damage underneath the lip i would probably take it off, but theres scratches around the sides of the bumper from the lip rubbing and a big paint chip where the cat hit.

lots of you have never seen my interior, i can swap that tap handle out with just about any tap handle, i modded the shifter so they thread on, inside of hacking up a tap handle to fit the shifter.
