so i picked up this car for 200 bucks it needed struts and brakes all around and a few other little things to make her road worthy

here's the day i picked her up

so i fixed what was needed threw on a set of tokico struts with 1st gen springs for now (srt springs on the way as i type) and also put on the wheels i had off my first gen, and painted the signal markers in the front amber.

i picked up some silverstones for her, an sx 2.0 cluster, srt swaybars front and rear with poly links and bushings, and a set of tinted tail lights

that's how it sits right now got some plans for the future but money will decide on those

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I agree the silverstones make the car look 100 times better and once I get new tires in a proper size it will be a lot better.

Right now the plans are to get her running proper there's a few mechanical items that need to get sorted out. Have to install my srt springs.

As far as future mods go there's a few things I would like to do but time will tell
-srt or sx2.0 bumpers front and rear with lights
-srt hood
-srt swap
-new front seats not sure what yet though
-bbs acr wheels
-srt exhaust
-srt or rt side skirts
...
That's pretty mush as far as I have gotten for now

so as happy as i am with the progress on my 02 i came across a deal today that i couldn't pass up on an 03 sx2.0 now my dilemma is do i keep my 02 and flip the 03 for profit or sell my 02 and use the money on the 03?

will have some pics up on thursday details are it's an 03 ATX(le gay) with a blown rad and trans
silver
has factory alloys
dual vibrant exhaust
tinted windows
everything else is stock
body is overall better shape than mine so not sure what i want to do...

I would probably keep the 02 , but thats me , you want to swap to 03-05 bumpers anyway , so just keep the 03.

If you dicide to sell the 02 , I might have someone interested .

well no 03 the wife ousted that deal so the car is currently sitting in the garage while i am in school finally received my proper srt springs last set i bought turned out to be stock 2gen springs.

promising lots more progress in the new year once i'm back at school and making money again

so i picked up some new horns today wanted to install them in the grill but unfortunately they were a little too big so i had to install in the lower part of the bumper

sorry for the shitty cell pic will get better ones tomorrow when my new headlights are in and the horns are straight.

so far this is pretty much as far as i've gone since the previous pics, have the new srt exhaust but need to get some pipes bent before that can be installed and hopefully will be picking up my sx 2.0 seats this weekend.

also have sx2.0 sides and a rear lip headed my way hopefully at the end of the month so by spring the car should almost be good to go

alright well since my last post i picked up some raccoon headlights and painted the signals amber

and then i picked up some srt 4 rims and tires

but decided i did not like the look of them at all

sold them this weekend and went to a local scrapyards and got some goodies

rust free hood, pt cruiser 16" alloys which i love more and more the more i see them, a new cluster and a set of first gen neon floor mats.

i also received my sx 2.0 lip kit and so far have installed only the sides will do the rear tomorrow at work

plans left for the car include a 2.4 n/a swap which i will have in my possession hopefully before the end of the month

now to decide
1. color match the hood or get it cf wrapped?
2. what lip to use on the front of the car?
3. use the pt wheels for summer or the rt wheels for summer?

sorry for the picture quality promise to get some better pics by the end of the week

I really like how the turn signals look being amber, not sure why but I really do. I like the PT wheels as well, but I adore silverstones so that's a tough call. I would say silverstones for summer. And paint match the hood.

I love this paint color. Car looks great so far. Amber signals look good.

I'd say paint the hood to match. Are you going to mod the mopar lip to fit the 00-02 rear bumper? And are you familiar with the different kinds of civic lips that are used?

yeah the plan is to make the rear sx lip fit, what mods need to be done to it? and if i recall it's the 99-00 civic lips that fit correct?

You'd need a heatgun, some heavy duty gloves, and lots of careful and patient measuring. Basically the bumper has more rounded edges than the more "square" lip shape so you need to soften up the lip's corners and make it hug the bumper better with heat.

Yeah, those are the right year lips. But there are many different types of lips too and you should figure out which you like best. Almost any lip can work with enough modification.

so i have done some changes to the car over the winter as some of you that have me on facebook know it's having a color decision battle...or something like that lol

i have added:
srt rear bumper
sx tinted tails
rt front bumper
sportline lowering springs
suspension technique sway bar set
sx door panels
alpine type r speakers front and rear
fidanza short throw
booger trans bushings
jonny mopar cradle bushings
rt glass fogs with 3000k hids
motor mount inserts
msd wires
injector cover painted all black
rear strut tower bar

...i think that's all for now

i have a magnum intake manifold to go on as well as some srt sideskirts. i will be waiting to install the manifold till i get a lth and a mgnum head as i plan on keeping it sohc for a little longer just want to make a little more power out of her.

anyway yesterday i installed my silverstones that i painted gloss black and today i gave her a bath so i figured while the weather was nice i should take some pics

don't mind the lack of one solid color

paint is coming i promise

Didn't get them off dylan actually did get a good amount of stuff from him but not the fogs cause one of his was destroyed
