That's exactly what I'm sayin! Chest pains are nothing to mess around with, but alas... military medical opinions, or maybe just the Marine Corps', suck!
It is upper chest pains. If I had to give you guys an idea of where it's located: Sternum Bone (which should be exactly between the nipples), go 45* up (towards your neck, and towards your right side). If you were to make an even triangle (equilateral) from the points of your sternum, your right nipple (if you have one

), and the point where the pain is... that's where it's at. Opposite side of the heart.
As far as seeing a doctor (in the Marines)... I have... this was when I went to get my heart palpitations checked out last year and they told me it was "normal". "Nothing to worry about".
Anyway... I've got a couple weeks till my EAS (still on Terminal Leave since 18th of October), so I want to try and hit up the Naval Hospital before I'm technically not Active Duty anymore... shitty part about that is that it's a 2 hour drive to the base.
Friggin military and the wear-n-tear they put on our bodies. I hate it. Honestly I'd rather be 100% ok than to be 50% disabled with a monthly paycheck for the rest of my life and having to deal with health issues.
