Which clip is which

Post by ltr450r » Fri Dec 03, 2010 2:02 pm

Which shift cable clips are bigger? is it the ones on the transmission side (#2)? I ordered the four from Mopar estore and of course they only sent me 2 small ones and 1 of the big ones. I need to order another big one.

Can't you just use the part number off of the big one, if you need one more?

The larger ones go on the trans bracket under the hood. The smaller ones hold the cables to the shifter base bracket. They are not the same size. I've never tried to use them in the wrong place. Without going out to the garage to check, I don't know if the inside width is the same between them.
