I'm running 10mm spacers on my rear wheels and it sits about flush with the body.
Drove my neon until it was killed in a flood.

My guess would be the 3mm that you can use for stock. With the 10mm spacers, I had to replace all the lug bolts with longer ones.

The best way to check, is to use an open ended lug nut and watch the number of threads you engage to see what's safe.
I feel comfortable using up to a 5mm spacer on stock lugs, but no more. 8mm or higher I absolutely recommend using extended lugs.
As to the OP's question, whats the offset on your wheels so we can determine how far out you should pull out your wheels.
