Battery's relocated --- Now what do I do with the blanket?

Post by glasswars » Sun Dec 19, 2010 7:39 pm

So just finished up my battery relocation (yes Steve I still mod my car) and I left the battery blanket unhooked, started the car and saw the battery light on.

After some quick searching I saw that unhooking the blanket causes the battery light to come on.

So now what do I do about the blanket and sensor? Should I get a resistor/dummy for the sensor? Is the fact that the sensor reads temperature and adjusts based on that going to negatively effect my battery? Does it even actually work?

Thanks!

take out the sensor from blanket and plug it in and put away from the hot engine somewhere
