i love this site, and the folks on here - i spend a good portion of my day reading the threads on here

i made one post on neons.org and got flamed so hard that i just never went back

hope you fing it as informative and helpful and fun as i do

what was your name over on neons.org. i dont see what everyone has such a problem with it over there. people say that they get flamed all the time. i have had this issue a little but not to the extent of what i hear described. some of them are thick headed and that is to be expected on any forum. i post over there alot, i have 600 posts in the last year. there are some problems over there, like some think the neon is the best car in the world. but there is some good info over there too.

I don't think I've ever really gotten slammed... I just got tired of the way people act and if you're looking for some answers you have to go through the 100 useless posts in order to find what you're looking for. I also got tired of the useless staff and how most of them are on this huge power trip. They run it to much like a comunist contry for me and I'd just rather not deal with it.

yeah i dont see much out of the mods over there that is a lot of the problem i think. if they had better mods that kept an eye on stuff it would be a lot better. i tried to get in contact with one mod about a post to make sure it was ok. never got a response so it said to hell with em and i posted it anyway.

dont get me wrong this is a nice community overhere. its good that people that dont fit in over at neons.org can come overhere and generally find there place.

The other org totally blows, a lot of morons who think they know shit, and a few of people who reaaaaaallly know what they are talking about but 90% of them are total assholes.

i only visit that site because of the rally/roadracing forum, but everything else sucks.

2GN is definitely an awesome forum, and trust me im in A LOT of forums with thousands of posts, this is one of the bests, definitely a friendly one where we help each other, i relaly appreciate you guys

welcome to 2gn.

and since it was brought up... my problem with teh dot org is that is actually USED to be a GREAT place to hang out and converse with people who shared a similar interest in neons. then 4 YEARS AGO it started going massively downhill, and no one did anything to really stop it.

<- used to be a top 10 posted on teh org 5 years ago.

Agreed.. it's gone downhill a lot in the past 2-3 years. Mods didn't care, admins didnt' care... no one really cared about anything then will something stupid comes up they get pissy about it. Instead of making sure topics are in the right spots, people behave and whatnot they're more concerned that no one is bypassing the censorship filter

This is really the better of the 2 .org. People are just alot more inconsiderate. Although alot less people post on this site, I can find helpfull threads in a matter of seconds where I can spend awhile searching on neons.org and not find what i want. Plus the people on here are alot nicer. I dont think its just neons.org though, alot of the other local car sites have alot of jerks on them. I always enjoy coming on 2gn and anyone I do talk to on the other .org, i refer them to here. Anyway, welcome.
