It depends on where the pipes are. My duals in the back are angle cut to be parallel with the ground. They don't look too bad. It helps they are a clean cut, and I smoothed the edges.
If you angle cut it parallel with the body, it will be louder in the car, as the sound will be going out/forward. If you angle cut it perpendicular, it would bounce off the tire, to the front. The way you have it, it is directing it out/back, so it sounds quieter. May not be everyone's cup of tea appearance wise, but for in cabin noise levels, it is a win.
Dual outlets are louder due to the larger overall opening. I plugged the SRT rear section on one side until I replaced it, so it was much more bearable.
