Yeah thats the only reason I went with it. The finish on it is very OEM looking and not too ricey. Its a hell of a lot more subtle than the bright silver checker thing that came on the car.Danteneon wrote:I will start by saying that I HATE CF. But I have to say that I do like how the HVAC bezel came out. This stuff is a dead ringer for the SRT shift boot material.
Well done
Real carbon is nice, there is no denying that. This is just more OEM looking and only cost $10 to do. I dont even want to know what real carbon would cost, lol. Im just not that much of a baller...sidepipe87 wrote:I prefer my real CF to imposters, but you did a good job with it.
Not bad at all, doing it that way actually makes carbon affordable.sidepipe87 wrote:Cost me $30/yard for carbon fiber. Enough to do my armrest and door inserts. Another $30 for the surfboard resin and a few bucks for foam brushes. Not too bad really. Cheaper than paying to have the stuff done.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

It has been done but in my opinion it doesnt look even close to as good as real carbon fibre. It gives it some shine but you dont get the depth that real carbon has.wickedgood4684 wrote:Has anyone though about clear coating the Di-noc to try and replicate real CF?
