Will 05 neon tranny fit in 00 neon

I was wondering if a automatic 05 tranny will fit in a 00 dodge neon

Go with a replacement one...

Currently there is one on ebay brand new 3spd that I bought from installed, with 0 issues...

Try your luck there...

Just to elaborate a little.

The 3 speed that is in your car is a hydraulic based transmission that has minimal electronic involvmeent.

The 4 speed that came in the 02-05 Neons is an electronic transmission that is controlled by computers.

You can make it work, however to function as stock it will take a lot more than just a transmission swap. In the end it's not worth it.
