Some Exterior Options.

Hey all.
I am new owning a dodge neon. I just bought my first neon last week. Since I bought the car, I have spent countless hours on here reading, and admiring what everyone has done with their neons. I was just wondering what some good trusted websites are to buy interior/exterior mods, along with some trusted websites for buying engine mods. Sorry if this is not posted in the right place, I couldn't find exactly where to put it. Along with that, I was wondring if there even was any sweet modificatons I could do to my Neon. For example, I was looking at getting a lip kit, and couldn't find one. So any insight on what I can do to my car, and where I can buy mods would help.

Some insight on the car is:
2001 Dodge Neon ES (Automatic), I would have much rather had a 5 spd Neon, but for the price, I really couldn't pass up on this car.

Most everyone here has ordered from modern at least once. They are good people. EBay usually has some sweet deals. For the lip kit hit up your dealerships

The only problem I see with modern is they have very minimal exterior mods for my car. I was looking at tailights, but they don't have any that fit an 01, just 03-05.
By the way, what is the cost of a lip kit for an 01, if anyone has bought one for that year before.

Initially, welcome aboard

They don't actually make a lip kit for the 00-02 body styles. The side skirts you would have to find used in the FS section here. You could make an 03-05 rear lip kit fit (search for car's owned by "Tam" and "Slaw" to see what I mean)

Some people have fabricated lips onto the 00-02 front ends...the 02 bumper is the easiest to achieve this with.

So I could call a dealer and get an 03-05 rear and front lip kit?
And would this basically be direct fit, or would a lot of fabrication be needed?

Yeah go to the dealership and give them the part number. You can find the part number under the "part number" section of the forum.

As for direct fit, not really - I think you'll have to use heat to make it wrap around the bumper correctly. Good luck!

any other options than lip kit, i don't want to put a full body kit on it, but i just want to give it that not stock look on the outside.

A decent upgrade would be a 01/02 R/T front bumper, and skirts..............an 03 Front end swap(bumper and headlights) then you can use the mopar lip without any modifications to it................or a SRT bumper swap(again bumper and headlights). You could also do the rear on the 03 and SRT swap, all you would need is the bumper and tail lights.

IDK about the polyurethane parts, but the FRP and cabon fiber are built as ordered. It is usually a 3 to 5 week wait from order to shipped. Then w/e shipping takes. Just so you know you may not get them in a week.

They are quality made in USA parts.

Hammerhead spoiler, '03/'04 R/T rear fascia/tails.
(Certifit doesn't carry the '01/'02 R/T fascias.)

might want to mention here about the 03-05 MOPAR Lip kits... since they don't make the Neon anymore, they did a clearance out on all the neon lip kits ...cheap..and everyone snapped them up
Don't know if there are any left anymore (?)

I know the 'kit' consisted of 2 parts, the side skirts and then the front and rear lips. Pretty sure there are no more side skirts because the skirts will fit even back to 2000 Neons... but they may have some front and rear lips, but those are the parts that only fit the 03-05... they can be cut and modified, as mentioned above, to fit earlier models
