Hell yeah, man. Gonna be an awesome year for Carlisle. The SRT is stock, one owner, 93,000 miles. The clutch grabs hard and it boosts perfectly. The control arm bushings are shot, and I need a new upper coolant hose but, all-in-all, it was a steal.lilnicko11 wrote:Hell Yeah Bro! Thata Boy. Now work on getting time off for Carlisle so you and I can roll down in our E-Blues together. Whats the scoop? Price? Miles? Mods?

Surprisingly, the payments aren't half as bad as I was expecting. But I like Ramen as a choice, not a survival technique.TheRandom1 wrote:Perhaps you should have purchased a less expensive car if you have to eat Ramen...
Ryan, out the door with tax, title, blah blah blah I paid $9k.

There were some beat ones for a little under $8k all over, but I wanted mint/stock and I didn't want to do private sale either. I'd rather pay a little extra to have someone else do all the paperwork and take my old car off my hands. Remember that sales tax falls into this equation, which ups the price.heydockyle wrote:Nine is decent, but I think you could've found a better deal.
Thanks, Tam. I figured you might enjoy this.

Haha. Me and Passt (nate), talked about this the other day. To many of us the value of the SRT4 is really priceless since many of us see ourselves having them for a long time if not keeping them permanently. Then on the other hand some people just price them way too much. Sure we would all love for them to be worth more but as time goes by I guess we all gotta come to the realization of what worth really is whether it be a dealer or private sale.
Anyways, good job that is a great deal and I would have to say going for the car with 1 owner and less mods is the smart educated choice. You never know with a modded SRT4. I know some SRT4's in my local area that I would never even consider after some of the owners I have seen.
I think Nate got a steal deal recently. I do not want to spoil his surprise though but you will all be super jealous so I'll let him post it up if he ever gets the chance. If not I will have to drop the beans. I'm sure he wouldn't mind
