IF its a ebay kit there universal so you will need to tweek/ fab some stuff to make it work from what i heard. Your bottom end should hold low boost just fine, its been done lots before .

Im not sure about a"chip" for a second gen but you have to be careul when boosting and a chip or PCM that would aggressively change your timing . Advanced timing and boost is a recipe for disaster

You might wanna look into a SRT setup , they can be pieced together rather cheaply since the srt guys are getting rid of there stock stuff and upgrading

NOOO!! There is NO chip that will work for an 03-05 NONE. Not a single one that means which ever brand you are looking at it doesn't work. you should save up and get MS ifyou dont have to worry about emissions. If you have emissions then maybe crane or MSD to retard timing, but MS would probably be best option right now. Plese dont even post the specs on the chip cus it wont work.

^What that guy said... a $600 turbo kit does NOT sound good in fact. It's garbage.

the turbos then self are usually decent castings where they fuck you is the bearings they use in them I had an ebay 16g on my talon and the bearings shit the bed in ab 3000 miles but I did a mitsu rebuild on it and they kid that got it off me is at 16k on it with no problems
Never let anyone tell you that you can't. The only reason why people say that, is because someone told them they can't and they listened.

New to the site and have to say I am a PT Cruiser owner from The UK, so have a 2.0l engine. Does a Hahn Turbo kit for a PT Crusier fit the Neon. I assume some of the pipe work and fuel lines would need modding, but is the general kit the same. If so, I might be able to help?

Sorry If I am posting this after so few posts.

Also,

I was told that the rods are the weak link, but should be good for 10psi, so 8psi should be fine with the help of an intercooler. I assume this is the same for the neon. Clutch is also good for about 245 lb/ft.

Stock neon clutch is not good for that amount of power. A PT cruiser clutch is proven to 270lb/ft. Stock neon rods will hold 250 lb/ft, more with a GOOD and safe tune. You're going to want to just read and read and read. Also, get on the group buy that ASP is putting on in the vendor section. Erick is very knowledgeable in the turbo field, and he can help you formulate a good plan into getting your car boosted, and quick!
