No start, No sounds..Need help.

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

No start, No sounds..Need help.

Here's a little info before I get into the main issue. A couple weeks ago my speedometer wasn't working right and eventually crapped out. Gas gauge was fluttering and there was some loss of power. I searched and ordered a new speed sensor. I also changed a fouled out o2 sensor which I had a code for.

Since I had the car apart I decided to eliminate the solenoids. I did everything according to the sticky. I went to start my car after everything was back together and it doesn't even turn over. The lights are on in the car and they do not dim when I turn the key.

I'm getting code 340 and 335 which I know are crank and cam position sensors. I tried disconnecting the cam sensor and trying to start and I still get nothing. No clicks...nothing.

Its too dark to get under my car and check the crank sensor. I'm baffled because before I took everything apart it would still run and drive. Could anyone shed some light on my issue? Limited flaming would be appreciated as I did search and search and have not really found a solution.

I posted this over on srt forums and we all know thats a crap shoot.

Sounds like most of the stuff you are having trouble with uses a 5v reference, not a ~12v one. That's fed by the ECU. I would check the voltage while running at any one of the 5v wires. TPS is the easiest to get to. If it's below about 4.85, there is your issue and it can either be fixed by building your own 5V feed and running it to the harness where the 5V would normally come out of the PCM or replace the PCM altogether.
