"ugly duckling".. If you can spot out the difference by 9/19/11, i will
ship you one of my own custom made passenger visors with the
sliding door over the mirror, free of charge!

This may/may not be a tough one to spot, so good luck!

The orange wire running along the firewall that seems to turn into three red wires on the drivers side strut tower? My donor car didnt have those wires lol So thats my next guess.

Other than the small clamp off the back of the thermostat housing, and the zip-tie holding down the front AC line next to the headlight, I can't find much. At least nothing that is 'ugly duckling' worthy.

 that too. it all came off and theres only flakes left on the corner
of the "4". i'm actually surprised nobody has noticed yet.. i was
expecting like a "how come they don't all match up? it looks cheap" lol

i was wondering why the a/c line was zip tied too..

i just noticed too, john's picture has the same "one is different than
the rest" kind of deal goin on.. his is actually easier to see than mine.
and john isn't allowed to answer!!

:-k

Unless you're talking about the terminals on the battery, I really have no clue. I'm even looking at pictures of my engine bay and it practically matches.

I'm gonna kill you if you say it's the spark plug wires.

You mean the fact that 3 of your spark plug wires are straight and one has a 90* bend?

That's normal of most SRTs though. :-k Mine did that when I bought the car. All I did was rotate them a tiny bit and BAM - all better.

Pull it out and rotate it.

(that's what she said)

Technically, it's just one bendable cylinder. Once you remove it from its stationary position, you have the ability to rotate it in many directions on the Z axis as long as the plug lines up with the coil-pack again.

Like Jeff said (and I said in the PM) that is normal for the SRTs. But I'm with you...every time I see one of these it drives me nuts :cussing:

I am looking forward to this niffty visor though :-k

:-k

i'll have to try that.. so i should just be able to pull it off, bend it
straight, and pop it back on?

the visor is practically the same thing as having illuminated visors,
minus the illumination part...... lol. it just has a sliding door in it, but
once again, the fact that the driver side has a sliding door and the
passenger side doesn't, it drove me crazy

 There isn't any bending. Just disconnect the spark plug wire at both ends (coilpack and spark plug) and rotate it until it flops into the position you want. The actual wire (that you keep wanting to bend) is just a floppy wire; it'll flop into whatever path you want it to.

I think Thane wants the boot to be straight.

The boot should NOT be straight, it needs to be at a 90 degree angle to help it with being damaged from the heat. That was actually a TSB for 04 neons and they started producing them with the 90 degree boot on just one cylinder. However...yours is on the wrong cylinder, it should be on the back right of the coilpack. If you are going to get wires with straight boots, I would get a coilpack heatshield to protect them. Then again I'd get a coilpack heatshield either way.

maybe that could be my problem.. i pulled the spark plugs out and
took the valve cover off just to get a quick look at everything, and
cylinder 2's spark plug pipe was almost completely black. the rest
were all pretty clean. the spark plug itself didn't look too bad, so i
thought if anything, it was the wire. i switched wires with 2 and 3 to
see if the wire would/could do the same to number 3. could it just be
a bad wire then?

and i really need to stop asking my dad these questions.. he doesn't
know jack shit lol.

should i still need a heat shield if i don't even do that much driving
though? i don't race the car or anything and my drives are pretty short

Gah! The sky is flooded in most of your shots. :(

Cars look good. Anything done to the red one? I see the badges are moved and he has different side markers, but everything else looks fairly stock.
