guys i want to take out my mid downpipe and go with a strait aftermarket tube ( want to save the cat. and only use it when i need to smog) will any downpipe work with the r/t? for will it need some mod? to fir it. other then e---crap where eles can i find them

I have an e-crap one. Had to have new bungs welded on so the O2 sensors didn't hit the undercarriage. It was cheap, stainless, and poorly designed.

Also e-crap on mine, downstream was about 1 foot down too far. But e-crap is not all the same, there are a few different models. I got one for around $50 ... you get what you pay for.

i got my obx head and down pipe and it works fine i think i paid 150 but its catless and throws a code

Install a spark plug anti fouler on the O2 and the code goes away

It just moves the sensor a little back and limits the exhaust flow through the sensor making the ecu think the cat is still there.

If you search there are several ways to do it, I only used one and didnt drill through, I just drilled out enough for the sensor to fit, so I left the little hole on the bottom untouched, so only using one.
