Exhaust question

I have a 2.5 full exhaust. I got the kirk long tube headers and an obx tip. I have been told its sounds "ricer" and i agree and i was thinking of quieting it down, any suggestions?

is a hiflow cat better than the resonator?
I also have the CEL for no cat, any suggestions?

Hows the vibrant resonator from modern, any feedback?

I'd think a high flow cat would be a better option. I have 2.5" exhaust on my silver car (also an atx) and when I had the Borla SRT rear section on it, I put 2 moroso spiral flow mufflers in the mid pipe and it was still extremely loud and droned really bad. If you have no cat, I'd think adding one would help.

You could also try the Non Fouler Mod since you do not have a cat.

The cat has a huge impact on the noise level. Moroso spiral flow also does a great job of quieting it down without a lot of restriction..

A real resonator like exhaust shops use will help. IDK what the difference is, but the one they used on mine is barely larger than the pipe diameter, and made a huge difference. I really had my doubts when I first seen it. It might be a bit longer than 12". I thought, WTF is that going to do?
