Starting a new job today

Post by HazmatJeff » Sun Feb 27, 2011 4:43 am

So tonight I'm starting at my new job at Buffalo Wild Wings. This is the first BWW in Maine and I have never been or even heard of it before until I applied for the job. I signed papers on Friday and there is a shit-ton of tv's in there. Seems to be a real sports enthusiasts dream.

The restaurant is opening on the 7th of March and I'm suppose to be training to cook. The pay isn't much better then McDonald's at only 10cents, but considering I have been there for over 2 years, I'll take what I can get.

Has anyone ever been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before? I'm not really sure where they are located, but the atmosphere seems really fun and exciting. I;m just excited that I don't have to shave everyday before work :D

Also known as a Piece-o-Shit, this car has to be the worst car ever made. Although it may look cool and have a great name, this car has many defects. Everything from gaping holes in the back floor panel, to missing interior, from failing clutches, to having the clear coat applied before the paint, this car takes the cake as the worlds worst idea of a car.

You're only getting paid 10 cents!?

We have a BWW up here; great place. Huge TV's everywhere; even the bathroom stalls!

So you will be cooking and they don't care if you cleanup before coming to work. Hmmmm.

Never been there but we have them locally. In fact they just built one pretty close to my house that is getting ready to have the grand opening soon.

This is true. We have one down here and on any form of game/fight night it is crowded.

Well they do care, you need to be neat. I just don't have to fully shave every day.

Training was fun, the food looks good.

Foods good, atmosphere is good, waitresses are hot. At least at the ones near me... I approve of them.

Waitresses vary greatly with location. I have 10 BWW's within a 50 mile radius.

The original one is allegedly at
227 Franklin Ave, Kent, OH 44240

When I was there they told us the whole background and history. We are also suppose to remember all 13 of their sauces and the order of least to most hot.

From what I've heard, the Dante sauce is the hottest.

Oh wait, BWW sauce, right.

All jobs suck but Buffalo Wild Wings sounds like a decent place to work at... WAY better than McDonalds! It's a cool joint.

McDonald's sucks, seriously, I have got a total of 65 cents since I have been there and that's not a lot.
