UPDATED: 5% Tint and Smoked Tails

Finally getting new pictures up, headlights are clear again! Tails are still a work in progress, but getting better. Next step is getting rid of the 4x4 status, and some nicer wheels. Sorry about blurry pictures, Was getting late and only had my phone on me.

Like the window tint.. Not a fan of tinted tail lights or headlights, but each to their own!

Can't wait for spring to roll around and I'll get all my windows (excluding the front windshield obviously) tinted 5%.

Yeah, I regret making my headlights that dark. Tomorrow I begin the long process of making them clear again. Haha

As much as I already find the fact that you tinted your headlights odd, I'm even more baffled as to why you didn't tint your fogs with them. It seems like if you were to tint anything, you'd do the exact opposite.

i'm with chris gotta lose the rims and de-tint the headlights, if you want to get the dark effect buy some racoon depos.

Tinting headlights seems like it would be hazardous to your health.

I did one coat too many on the headlights, as I can barely see the road without my fogs on.

Probably so he could see the road during the night!

Yeah, Realized it was a horrible idea after I did it. They are clear again. haha And yes, I hate these wheels. They came with my car and haven't gotten new ones yet. Thats the next thing for sure, And lowered.

I keep it under a carport and wash it every week. And that seems to do it. haha Yeah, the only Neon's around here have big metal wings, and dragon vinyls on the side. Occasionally I'll see a nice Neon around here.

if you just used nightshade just get some paint thinner and it will come off clean. Found that out when i painted my grey car and got some thinner on the tail lights that had been night shaded a year before then.

It was nightshade. Only two coats too, It looks way darker in the picture than it is for some reason. They are mostly clear again, I still have some left around the outside of them, but not too bad. I will finish it up here in a day or so when it warms up. And post new pics.
