You're probably gonna have to rebuild the motor and get a new transmission to turbo your Neon, fyi. You got a few g's to spend and something else to DD while it's being worked on? Otherwise it probably won't last long.

That's not the best purchase I've ever seen. The turbo may be usable for a little while until it dies, but that downpipe puts the exhaust right about out of top of your dash. Never have to worry about using the defroster again, I suppose.

Rice-aisle radiator hose dress-up crap doesn't really qualify as part of a turbo kit. Especially when it doesn't even include a manifold.

The fans aren't relevent to the turbo kit at all.

I don't see how they can assess whether or not you can keep your A/C when this "kit" is just a pile of poorly made chinese parts with no relevance to the car they advertise it for at all.

Another thing the kit is missing is engine management of some type. And as another member mentioned, you will want to build up the internals especially on a high mileage engine. Use the $1000 and buy yourself a DD before you even think about going turbo....

Might want to listen to this guy when it comes to turbo kits.

In fact, rather than blowing money on the ebay kit, PM this guy and pick his brain... then throw your money his way :)

I'm not anti ebay but Ebay is only good for certain things... a turbo kit, would not be one of them, IMO.

To go cheap but still have some fun, buy the 16g I have laying around and get in on the group buy for the manifolds. Then start piecing together the little stuff that goes with it as it comes around.
