I think it's safe to say I've pushed my car almost too close to the edge on low. Gas station I went to didn't have any 93 so I kept driving until the next station.. Roughly 10 miles this low.
I never got a flashing light though.

In case anyone was wondering, I should trip the gas light tomorrow morning.
If you haven't guessed, I don't drive it much. Mainly just on Saturdays.

I finally reached the point of needing gas.
The light came on at 300.8 miles. Then it started flashing at 353.3 miles. I probably could have gone a few more miles before the flashing if I wasn't on a slope when it started flashing.
I then filled up with 10.9 gallons, so theoretically I could have gone to around 370 miles before running out of gas would have become a major concern.

So what I am collecting from Frank's data... Stale, 2 year old gas will get you better MPG's

It only took 6 weeks to burn through that tank.
Considering the drive includes traffic lights, I'm pretty happy with the ~32mpg that it returned.

I'm with Frank. It's not great on the fuel pump or filter (so I've gathered) but I've driven to work and back (8 miles round trip) twice and to the girlfriend's (14 miles round trip) with my light on, and even then I've not gotten it to flash at me yet. I've gotten to ~345 miles on a tank before it flashes. You can EASILY drive more than 10 miles into your light.

When my gas light comes on (in both cars) I have 4.5 gallons left. It flashes at 2 gallons remaining. I had the SXT down almost to the pin this past weekend and it took 2.250 gallons of fuel so it hadn't started flashing yet.
