check and see what maintenance/records he has on the vehicle. its got the bigger v8 so it has plenty of power (if thats what you want) also he said no rust through, does that mean it has surface rust then?

Check the tranny maintenance out for sure, between that and the rear diff you will spend as much as you will Don the truck if they are bad or going bad (2things those trucks are notorious for). To me that looks a little cheap so be sure to check it over and drive it before you buy it

I had an old D50 for a while and it needed some serious tranny work. Even though it's not the same truck, it was 4wheeled drive and I noticed that the drivetrain on them might need some serious inspection before laying down the money.
Love how northerner's say little to no rust....bring a magnet!
a reason why I moved back down south....my family can stay up there in that darn cold! :D

This statement worries me:

"I have put about 700 bucks into this truck in last 2 months."

Is that a regular thing?

How much is it going to cost to keep it running for the next 2 months?

I would want to see all the maintenance/repair records if they have them... otherwise you have no idea of where you are starting.
