Drilling out prothane bushings for swaybars
I have a question about Prothane swaybar bushings. After buying a set of SRT-4 swaybars off of Nitehawk, I decided to order the Prothane complete kit so I'd get all new bushings on the car, plus get the different sizes I'd need to use the SRT bar(s)
The problem I have is that I have an R/T, and have a 19mm rear bar, which I'd like to keep instead of using the SRT-4's 17mm bar. The prothane kit doesn't come with the 19mm rear bushings (it doesn't even come with the 22mm front bushings for my stock front bar either)
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, and has just drilled out one of the other sizes to the proper size and used them that way? The kit came with two other smaller rear swaybar size bushings, so I figured I'd take one of those sets that I wasn't going to use anyway and drill them out to 19mm. Thoughts?

They would be a PITA to drill without gouging them. I would just use the proper lube, and use them as is. They may be a little snug, but it's not like the bar is spinning complete revolutions at 2000 rpm. It is just twisting a few degrees.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

If they were 2mm too loose, then you would have some issues.

they don't come with 19mm? I thought they did... I know there's several. I'll check when I get home and see if I have them.
