One thing I do when slowing down is while I'm on the brake, I'll reach over with my foot and blip the gas to rev match when I downshift.

Although I'll be honest. I've done some really dumb shit when it comes to downshifting. On my 98 I was in 5th, pushed in the clutch, went wot and dumped it into 3rd going around 65.

Haha, I never did anything like that to the 05 on the 2nd transmission. The 98 it was one of those move or die situations.
