Honda Fit
I pulled the trigger on a 2011 Honda Fit Sport (Silver) today...
...and traded in the Neon which is apparently headed to auction.
First impressions of the Fit... amazing! Feels like a go-kart with the little bit of driving I have done so far.

Finalized the deal this evening.
This has been the strangest new car purchase experience I have ever had.
Sales fellow allows me to take the car out by myself for a test drive... I was gone for an hour.
We agreed on a price but did not sign any papers. They help me move the stuff from the Neon to the Fit and let me take it home.
Finally tonight... the papers are signed.
This with a Honda dealership dealing with a Canadian on a work visa in San Antonio.
Tomorrow it goes back in for accessory install and detailing... and giving me a loaner while it is there overnight and the next day.

Yes, worry free and reliable motoring for several thousand miles.Fuzzyneon wrote:PLans?=D
The following has already been done:
-tint
-wheel locks
-body side moldings
Considering:
-door sill plates
-figure out how to mount the GPS
-getting an iPod to hook up to the system so I don't have to mess with CDs
Yes, I'm one of those rare individuals that still does not have an iPod. I have an MP3 player but the format is not recognized.
Other than that... it will be left stock. Oh wait... I may upgrade the battery at some point because it is so tiny... but on the other hand the battery is covered by the warranty. I have 7years/75,000 mile warranty on the vehicle.

Does the radio have an aux input on it? If so then just use that, imo. You can't control the iPod but the iPod interfaces for OEM radios can be pricey.

...and so the modding starts.
Well, "mod lite" in my case since I will not be doing any engine or suspension mods.
I'm using the USB connector in the glove box to play my music. Sure beats loading or changing CD's.
Ordered a cup holder mount for the GPS which gives me the option of placing it either on the left or right.
Added a billet lower grill yesterday to protect the AC condenser from flying rocks. There have been a few reports of the condenser getting hit and owners getting stuck with $700 repair bills. The billet grill at $150 is cheaper

There is a billet grill for the upper portion that surrounds the "H" emblem... still mulling over whether to go for that.
800 miles on it now and still lovin' it.
Yes, I know... I'm a 2GN outcast now that I have a Honda.
Note that I'm parked in reserved handicapped parking.
