I think the newer emblem is bigger than the 00-01 style chrysler/dodge emblem.
I went and bought a the blueish/purpleish color hood emblem for a 1st gen, and put it in my grill on my 00. Fit perfectly, exact same size.

"That one" is an SRT-4 embleml. it is much bigger (Viper emblem big) than the regular neon ram head. The regular neon ram head is chronme (not brushed) and has no black on it.
