Post by Caraudioholic24 » Tue Mar 22, 2011 7:11 pm

Ok so Ive been researching as much as I can. I am gonna prob order from turbo.....com cant think of the site right now....anyway they offer the upgrade service to ensure the bolts and washers etc are beefed up now I hear everyone talk about an issue with the axle pins getting stuck....anyone know if this will be taken care of with the service....

there's a thread on obx rebuild with pics and everything. as for the axle clips yes there is an issue on them where they wont come out after the axle is inserted so you have to bevel the edge of the splines of the lsd so the clips come out.

you realize you'll be paying over 125 more plus shipping to get the lsd from them rather than from ebay? i realize they offer this service but a guy on neons.org sells the upgraded bolts for 25 bucks and i believe theres a how to on how to bevel the lsd.

Yea I did some shopping around and a vendor Ive dealt with on ebay gave me a sweet deal... then I bought the upgraded parts from turbos unleashed and sent it to a member on another forum who beveled the gears that needed it and installed all the new hardware so all together the lsd cost me around 500 plus my buddy at the trans shop is only charging me 150 to install it in my trans...

So far so good the trans should be installed in the next week or so...Cant wait
