car bouncing at stop

Post by akirony » Tue Mar 29, 2011 8:48 pm

Im sitting at a light for about 2mins, then I feel myself going up and down. My car was bouncing and I had it in neutral waiting to shift-brake down. Has this happened to anyone else? Felt like someone was jumping in the backseat.

That won't make the car bounce. At least, not unless they're dancing to that "milkshake" song from a few years ago.

Your rear struts must be completely shot.

The combination of the rear struts being completely destroyed and the wind blowing or cars going by is the only thing I can think of.

In all honesty, the only time you'll be bouncing is if the struts/shocks are gone in a car.
