It's in, mounts bolted up... need to bolt up the exhaust, install intake mani, fmic piping, do the vacuum lines and a bunch of other misc stuff.
It'll be running tomorrow hopefully.

is it just me or does your exhaust look completely off centered?LowNSlow wrote:
Learn something new everyday lol. Is it possible to run the whole PT motor as is and everything bolt up fine (intake and exhaust manifolds)? Or is it too much fabrication to get that to work?sidepipe87 wrote:It's the same motor... he just has to change the intake and such to the SRT ones.2005.Neon.SXT wrote:I guess I missed something... you're running a turbo'd PT Motor in the SRT-4? I wasn't sure if that was possible or not.
Can't wait to see pics of this installed!

not much more than you pay for a used one either.
Neon4Life wrote:^ the only thing you would need is a srt4 intake manifold & everything else is just plug & play..well depending on if you are doing this on an aleady srt4 neon or just base neon. If you got that PT engine you would need a trans to go with it.

Tell him John sent you his way... the guy who bought the 2.4 turbo motor from him and ask if he has anymore. He'll know exactly what you mean.nolaneon wrote:thanks man, and what did you ask for when you ordered it? cuz most of the long blocks ive seen dont come with manifolds and stuff.

But otherwise it looks great like new? is it?
It's running.... like a champ.INVUJerry wrote:A neon trans bolts right up to an srt motor with no issue.
Looks amazing John, glad you'll have it running soon.
