fuel rail question

fuel rail question

so i recently i did my fuel return line, and im curious what needs to be done with the little regulator thing on the rail. its the thing located in the middle of the rail in this pic

That is a pulsation damper. It absorbs the hammer effect of the injectors stopping the flow as they rapidly shut. You need to do nothing. :D

Regular neons have it mounted in the fuel line, at the firewall.

What if I used the srt fuel rail on my 2.4 turbo swap? Would having two of them be an issue?
