I love junkyards, I love them even more when I find awesomeness in the neons inside them. Came across an 02 in the JY Friday that had leather seats, I did a double take and they weren't OEM, rather they're Roadwire aftermarket covers. So I snagged the seats Tuesday and installed them in Nee

Yes, I know I need to do something about the tan export armrest, but it's low on my priority list right now.

My SRT has Roadwire covers, they're actually $800+ kits that replace the factory fabric or leather. They're not covers like you would think and they're a pain in the ass to install with hog rings and such (I changed out the entire seat this time). They have extra padding underneath so the seat is comfier than it was prior (same as my SRT). They usually run upwards of a grand, which is why I was so excited to find them cheaply.

i think to originally equip a neon from the factory with leather it was cheaper than that

, and i didnt know lucious seats were covers, i thought they were reapolstered.

In a sense they are, because they install just like factory, same rods, hog rings, etc.

She's not talking about "seat covers" like you get at Autozone. These are basically replacement seat upholstery, it's just called a "cover."

Mat is snagging them this Saturday, his seats are missing some foam so he's in definite need of them. Yours doesn't have the regular gray seats?

kbs: I was more excited than a kid in a candy store. Said JY has an SRT too, but it doesn't have much left to it, and what is left they want a fortune for. I adore JYs.

Manny: Yours were an aftermarket addition too. Too much color for me though, subtle accents would've be better IMO. Contrast stitching, piping, etc. I know you didn't choose them, but they're just awfully loud.

Hagan: Hell yes. JY's are awesome. I feel mildly uncomfortable with the guys there but I do enjoy all the good stuff I find.

I haven't looked at any yards here in Houston.. I'm sure we have a bunch but I don't know of any personally... I'll have to scope it out.

These came out of an 02, they're not perfect but for the price they sure are. I never have any luck with the lottery or scratch tickets or anything like that. I almost always lose
