Door Light flashing in the cluster HELP!!!!

Door Light flashing in the cluster HELP!!!!

hey guys I have this problem that is really annoying me :( my door light on my cluster keeps flashing. i found which door its doing it but idk how to fix it?? Some people say it is the door ajar? Can someone help me please :(

My first Neon did this. . . there are little black push-tab thingies in the door jambs that tell the car when the door is opened or closed. Mine was stuck pushed in, and my door wouldn't latch or register. Had to pull it out with some needlenose pliers. Check all the little "sensor" things in your jambs.

That depends on the year. '00 had the door jamb buttons. '01 and up will need the door latch wiring looked at, or a new door latch. The switch is integrated into the latch.

yeah mine is 01 and it does have the two little black push thingies and they seem to be working fine as they move lol and when i am driving the door light will flicker do on and off lol

Check the wiring under the door panel. It can break from the window going up and down due to it's poor placement and lack of slack in the factory wiring. One of my older threads has pictures showing the wiring and what happens.
