I can add this to the driveway for $850 (pays off the lien to get the title) So they can't go any lower. The woman told me I can go to the bank with her to pay off the lien and get the title. It is a silver 03 atx with 145k. The radio is missing. It has a few dings. There is a dent next to the passenger side tail light. The driver side rear bumper has a crack in it. Probably would need to be replaced. The driver side seat has a chunk of material taken out of it. The interior would need a really good cleaning. But the story behind the car. The timing belt broke going down the road. Her brother took the car after it sat for a few months and fixed the timing belt and water pump. Started it up and it ran rough. So he did a compression check on it and there are some bent valves in the 3rd cylinder. As noted in another thread I have a head for it. So it would be a matter of getting a few gaskets and bolts for the head. Part of the tear down is done. And a little time for labor. I just went thru the same thing with the 00 I just bought for $600. I am more than capable of doing the repairs and I am considering buying it, fixing it and reselling it or reselling the 00 I just fixed and keep this one. To be honest my 00 is in better shape but I would rather have the 03. I am adding photos below. Let me know what you think. I am supposed to go talk to the guy and pick it up tomorrow if I want it. I can get the title on Monday. I will obviously have to tow it home. The guy let me go to his house today and take a look at it when he wasn't there so I did spend some time looking over it.

Also: It has a new timing belt and water pump.

I was kinda thinking that. Since I had to replace the rear bumper and all. I think I am going to scoop it up. I am supposed to meet the guy about 11 am tomorrow. I already looked it over. I just need to make up my mind and go meet him to get the deal done. Then go back Monday and get the title.

It really ticks me off to see people not take care of their cars. That bite in the upholstery- wow. The car certainly deserves to be rescued by someone who would appreciate it.

For $850 you really can't go wrong. I'd pick it up.

Not really worth the $850 in my opinion... It's just an SE and it needs a lot of work it looks like. If you just need a shell for a swap, the sure, but otherwise... meh
