First, a video!

The convoy... Two fullsize Chevy pickups (one with rockwell axles), a ZR2 blazer, a Grand Cherokee, and my Durango. Had a lot of fun until the guy with the ZR2 buried it in a hole. Winched it out and just as he got out the fan must have been churning up some mud and ended up fracturing a fan blade and throwing it through the radiator.

Aftermath:

The hole that ate the ZR2...

Ended up taking us about 3 hours to get him off the trail. All in all, a fun day!

It was, especially since it was all dead weight, throwing a fan blade through your radiator is never a good way to go.... We were a few miles into the trail, took about 3 hours to get him winched out of the mud, then he gets out, gets ready to go up the hill under the trucks power, then a CLUNK and a cloud of white smoke... That kind of ruined the fun, but it was still a blast.

Damn, he must have been going really slow to get it stuck that deep. Every time I've gone in my friend's truck, we go down the trail so fast we get air. But there's also like three feet deep puddles of mud to cross so you have to go fast on our trail.

Cool vid, seems like a cool day. Got me back into the mood to be a redneck.
