BTW, the cutoff for the R/T is 130mph. Just saying.

On a 1gn? Are you sure. I thought it was only the ACR's that had the 130 cutoff..

A 1gn r/t limiter is 130, along with ACR's. A mopar PCM limits at 149.

They don't make mopar for 2gn.
I'm not sure what the limiter on the afx computer is.

yeah it's a PITA to max a neon. Up to 115 it's pretty easy going but those last 15 miles take almost forever!!

Just unplug it youll get a cel and no speedo but the computer wont read speed so you can go as fast as the car can

Not worth all the problems since I'm not as crazy as I used to be about hitting the top speed all the time. In fact, I think knowing that the car is limited to 118 helps me go slower overall because the top speed is no big amazement anyway, so why even do it.

This reminds me of a vehicle on the I-35 coupla weekends ago as I was coming back from Gruene.

Drive was in a Toyota Corolla and going faster than anything else around... also weaving in and out of the traffic and crossing all 3 lanes of the road while doing so.

That, is exactly what makes the roads very unsafe because the unexpected can happen causing a major crash.

My 04 sx2.0 or SXT is limited to 128km/h which is about 79-80 mph....wow...that sucks...can't even get into a persuit in the states and here on a scanner that my car has created a 100mph persuit...Now I wanna shoot myself....

atx mtx? ive had my 05 sx 2.0 180km/h on a back farm land straight with more to go, just ran out of flat road the bumps coming wold have kicked me off the road

It should go up to 192 km/h, as thats roughly 118 mph, not that driving anywhere close to that speed is suggested or smart on public roads haha.
