sunroof wont close

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

sunroof wont close

my sunroof will open but it wont close all the way...the little black triangle things wont slide down like their suppose to..any help?

ok but my motor isnt clicking or anything and it will open perfectly its just the little triangle pieces arent sliding down..is there any way of fixing that. is there away i could take the tracks apart?

Take it apart and look at it. I'm pretty sure you can't do shit with the tracks because it's one piece with corkscrews that go along both sides. I've only had mine out a handful of times though, it's really not that hard. Hardest part is getting the headliner out of the car without messing it up, and then lining the glass back up with the roof. Both are pretty simple procedures so if you're even slightly mechanically inclined you should have no problem.

I know there's a How-To around here somewhere. Look around.

Also, I have no idea about what triangle pieces. Might just be misaligned. What I ended up doing is taking the assembly out and "winding back" the corkscrews that operate the sunroof, so the plastic pieces that move were as far forward as they could get. Then put everything back together and see if you can get it to work. Mine still isn't perfect, but it opens and closes all the way now at least.

this happened to me once. the on side wasnt lined up with the other take the glass part off so that you can get to all the moving parts of the track and youll figure out the rest.
