Black Light

Post by Alex Kurdian » Wed May 18, 2011 2:28 am

Hey Guys
I thought it would look really cool if you could get a car under-glow light that was a black light...

Imagine all the funky glows you would get passing the white lines and all the other crap...it would look insane....Does anyone know if car under-glows are available in Black light?
I drove My Neon till it "SOLD" And then bought a Mazda 3 Skyactiv

You'd want to look for a UV neon tube kit. The only problem is UV isn't really meant to light things up like "normal" lights, so you'll spend some money buying a powerful enough kit or kits.

reminds me of an idea I had a long time ago...back in the hay-day of underglow lighting...

my idea, tho probably highly illegal... was instead of neon lighting, mounting a number of bright white strobe lights under the car, then when switched on, they would flash at different rates, looking like a bunch of bright white explosions going off underneath the car...

I think all under glow lighting is illegal when the vehicle is moving, not just strobe lighting.
