That paint job may have cost that but it's not worth any resale honestly it's so custom to one person.

Such better cars out there at least to me for that kinds money.

disagree about the "looks expensive, made good". maybe its the crappy cam pics, but to me it looks like it was drawn on with crayons...

i am not a fan of the paint, 90s minitrucker hit neon, but i will say atleast it does not havea gay wing and huge spoiler on it. so it is pritty much 90s style before fast and the furious came out. lol

The show pics make it look better, its def a quality paintjob, so I retract my statement made from the craigslist pics. Its all personal pref of course, so I still don't like it. If it was black, with the graphic style of the driver side all around it would look tons better, that passenger miami colored mural kills me tho, hate that side.

I beg to differ. The car isn't super clean (rock chips in the paint for one), poor fit of the hood on the drivers side by the headlamp, and the car is mostly stock with paint thrown on it. And that's just what I can see from those pics. How is all of the weather stripping? Are the door jambs painted and cleared? Wiring all cleaned up? Undercarrage detailed?

I'm sorry, but if you want to build a real show car to support paint work like that, you need more than a mostly stock interior, stock sheetmetal, stock brakes, and a stock engine (i'm guessing) in it. Painting the stock parts does not a show car make IMO.

Maybe I'm wrong to think that a show car should be more than a wild paint job. I mean, I'm just one of those guys that has a shit ton of work in my car but no paint work. Different strokes and all.

My point is, folks can dislike the car because of the reasons stated if they like. It's called an opinion. We all haz them.

I'd hate to say it, but the paintwork and detail itself looks pretty damn good. Good idea? Nope. Solid execution? I'd say so. Dante's right though, you can't just do extreme paint and bag it and expect it to be a legitimate show car.

I'd rock the bumper and sideskirts as-is though

The execution is probably very good but I voiced my opinion based on the subject matter (the design of the paint job). Not hatting on the car or the effort put into the paint job, just the design leaves a lot to be desired IMO.
