Who said this was a competition for the lowest mileage???
Clearly the topic is stating a high mileage neon
There for, those who have 200k+ miles on their car = charlie sheen = winning.
Those who have low miles on their car = pee wee hermin.

Tie rods or the whole steering rack. The rod ends went bad on one of our 2000's at about 140k. (Or motor mounts if it's an engine vibration)NEON PARABOLA wrote:im sittin at 138,000 ish, developing a vibration tho....
Highest mileage on any of our Neon's was 160k before it was sold. It needed a top end rebuild pretty bad at that mileage. But overall was a really nice car still.

Talked to my lady back home and asked her and she told me that the "mistress" now has 366,732kms...
and still running good. Appearently the oil sensor is acting up still on her and now she idles low when u come to a stop at a red light but when you put it in "N" and back to "D" it idles fine...so I thinks the Idle air sensor is getting old and weak now...wonder why? lmao

I'm at 120,xxx I believe on my 00. 120,xxx beat the piss out of the car miles and it still 0-60 in 8 seconds.
Timing belt done. Never any engine problems, always some little electrical shit.
I have to say, when I got this car, it was my fourth car in four years - all the other ones couldn't take the abuse (blowing head gaskets, killing transmissions, hitting trees and flipping). When I got the Neon, I had no faith in its ugly green ass. Now, three years later, I love this fucking car just because it still has power after all this time, and the fact that it just will not die.
