Well, as a lot of you may remember, I got rid of my Neon a couple years ago and have been watching some tool drive it into the ground the last couple years. I think he had wrecked it about 3 times, was off-roading with it, jumping railroad tracks and some other dumb shit... Well, I think today the Neon finally ran out of its 9 lives and was put to rest. He rear-ended someone today out front of a local grocery store.

Here are some of my favorite pictures when I had her...

And here is how she ultimately ended her life:

The kid broke one of the rear lowering springs, so he replaced the two rear springs with stock springs. After his first wreck about a year ago, he replaced the front passenger side fender with a black primer one and left the driver's side crinkled fender on, got rid of the HID headlights and bought new 10,000k HIDs, put a SRT front bumper on it, wrecked it again, put the broken stock SXT front bumper back on with a knock-off carbon fiber hood and then totaled it today... Maybe. Maybe he'll pull some dents and drive it still.

Who knows? Sad story.

Poor car.

I have a bunch of pictures of it saved on my external HD, yours and Fuzzys were my two favorite Blaze Reds.

Why do stoooopid kids (and 'adults') $pend their hard-earned money to buy a nice car like this, only to DESTROY it and drive it into the ground ??

Oh, wait, his Parents must have paid for it....
Maybe that's why he didn't appreciate it.

Sad to see. I'll never forget when our cars were pitted against each other for the neon of the month contest and yours won by a couple votes. Both cars had a similar ending....although my car was being taken care of and just had a freak accident, it wasn't run into the ground.

I know it wasn't your car no more but damn...I couldn't stand by and watch even my "former" baby be abused like that...your a better man than I 03sxt

Yeah, after the first few months, I started becoming immune to the pain of seeing the poor car getting beat up. The last few months when I'd see if, I would (while feeling sick to my stomach) just laugh and shake my head. I briefly talked to him today through Facebook (a friend of a friend) and I stand corrected - He said for once he wasn't driving like an idiot and some guy actually pulled out in front of him. It doesn't change my hatred against him for running the car into the ground, though, that's for sure. He even had the nerve to tell me, "You sold it at the perfect time because the car was falling apart. The brake lines blew out which caused me to get into an accident (Yeah right) and someone cut the springs so the struts all blew and that messed up the camber (Another, yeah right, the kid didn't realize they were lowering springs). I said, "At least the old guy that pulled out and hit you finally put the car out of its misery."

Once you sign the title, it's no longer your business. While it's unfortunate to have someone that stupid on the road, it's not a previous owners place to do anything about it unless your one of the people he hit.

I too remember trying to get this car a while back, but you were doing some suspension work to it and I needed a car quick!! I ended up driving from Chicago to Pennsylvania to buy jefflytlles neon instead:( sorry to hear what happened to your car I too sold my costum avenger and some idiot Fucked it all up! So now I'd rather my neon rot in the garage than to sell it to some dumbass!

I know Frank, but sometimes U just get an emotional, sentamental attachment and it kills. I know I can't sell mine cause of this reason. So I will scrap it before someone else gets it or just let it sit in my yard and pass on there lol
