best method for lowering

Post by dc9 » Tue Dec 27, 2005 4:45 pm

For the purposes of this question, "best" means: safest and most effective. Cost is not an issue. Would someone tell me the best way to lower an 01 ACR? At least 2 inches. Thank you in advance!

Cut your springs with a torch and coil the pieces together. (kidding) Depends on your budget. How much you wanna' spend? The options are practically limitless.
You have exceptional struts on there already so a set of Eibach Sportlines (note my mods) would lower the car to your desired specs. (2"). My car handles like a four-wheeled razorblade with this setup and the other mods I've got.

coilovers > any aftermarket strut/spring combo of comparative quality. period.

if money is no option, go hit up djgainsbond on srtforums. i turned down $950 shipped for slightly used KW variant 1 coilovers, not because of price, but because i need to get rid of a few sets of tires first. and possibly try to find a buyer for my stock r/t struts and srt springs
