HUGE Shifter problem!

Hey guys so here is my problem. I have an 03 SRT which I just took the Mopar short throw shifter out of and it was working fine. I put in my hurst shifter and now I get no 5th or reverse. The hurst assembly is bolted to a 2gn shifter cradle, but I think I know what the problem is. I think the crossover is hitting the cradle too soon which locks me out of 5th and reverse.

When I go to shift from 4th to 5th, alllllll the way to the right, the car still goes into 3rd and reverse goes into 4th. Nothing is wrong with the car, so what is the deal with the shifter? Thanks!

I'd be curious if anyone has the PL Hurst shifter if there are any differences in the cradle.
