All-In-One Key

Post by 04SXT04 » Thu Jun 16, 2011 8:08 pm

Anyone know if the newer keys with the built-in remote will work on our cars?

I have that aftermarket key. I was talking about an actual Dodge key.

Don't know, but if the key fob's frequency range matches the older RKE's and the features are there, it should. I imagine it would need programmed just like any new key.

Not many of us are willing to spend the $ to find out.

Also the key blade itself will need to be the same.

The key itself is $60-$70 on ebay plus the programming if you don't have enough keys on your own. It's a good gamble.

I personally hate these keys. My mother has one for her Grand Caravan. It feels HUGE in your hand. And it always feels like i'm going to press one of the buttons whenever I turn it over in the ignition.
