So what about the buses I work on? They have air... is that ok with you?

Anyhow, just dropped the truck off... headlights are suppose to be here tomorrow and the truck is suppose to be done for me tomorrow afternoon.

Just got them in.... now I'm waiting for the body shop to call me to say I can come get my truck.

I work 60 hours this week (even with today OFF)....so hopefully the truck is done at a decent hour so I can install them and take the first photoshoot of the truck

Damn. Seems like you got into a job where the economy hasn't hit too bad. What are you doing now?

I work for the school district as a mechanic in the bus barn.

Working in one of the largest school districts in the area so theres about 300 buses to 13 of us.

The buses go year round (Summer school) so we are always working. Just in the summer we work 4 10s and have every Friday off. This weekend is not work per say but I have some classes I have to take. (wheel/tire repair class saturday and bus body electrical class sunday)

I consider it work since it's hands on training and all damn day.... :laughing3:

Right now, I'm in the entry level position so I'm not getting paid that great but some over time is nice.

Realistically, I hope to have enough money saved up by Christmas to bag and possibly body drop the Tacoma.

No doubt, it's just killer on my back.... I have a few leads for something different that pays more and is easier on my back. We will see how that plays out though.

Trucks ready, body shop said it has the worst paint job they've seen... hah

I knew the truck was in a collision before I had it but I guess when they fixed it they did a half ass job.

The paint shines and looks great to me... but they said if I used a buffer on it or try to take the pin stripe off that it'll take paint with it.

I guess...we shall see.

Maybe a respray after the bags

lol you're telling me... I dropped the bare block off at the machine shop which doesn't weigh all that much and I told the guy I was going to pull up to the door so I could get it out. he brought a dolly over then saw it and was like shit, that's nothing. I thought it was going to be a big block. nice SRT-4 though. those things are quick. lol

I wasn't Sean. I was responding to Kyle but John posted too fast. And yes, he was referring to my SRT clone I was driving at the time.

Allow me to explain. I told John be careful of his back as it is fucked up like mine is. Kyle made a joke about my back:

I responded to Kyle about how worthless my back really is with a relevant story:

But John posted up before me. Then everyone got confused and here we are now.

It has to do with him saying he has a bad back, me saying he was more worthless then a hooker in a monastery, and then him saying how he couldn't carry his block from his car to to shop so he pulled it over to the door and the guy thought he was a pussy because it was a baby block.

Now back on topic. Crushed Toyota truck ftw.

Edit: Fuck you ryan.
